Faelynn: Rise of the Sidekick

In a city of steam-powered wonders, you work as the sidekick of a famous detective. Your first solo mission is to track down a bomb, hidden somewhere in the city's clock tower. As time runs out, you encounter Faelynn, the daughter of the city's most dangerous criminal mastermind. Will she help or hinder you?

• Content Guidance: The story is inspired by steampunk worlds and Batman comics. There are references to violent events, but it's within the standards of mainstream superhero and adventure stories.
• This short visual novel is a demo, submitted for the SuNoFes 2024 game jam.
• Over the next few months, the game's images and story will be further developed.
• The comic book/mange aesthetic was also a great opportunity to play with Ren'Py speech bubbles.
